Whatcom Falls Park is a popular local for residents of the neighborhood to exercise, meet and greet or  go for a stroll. It is one of Bellingham's most visited parks and is busy throughout the day. The need for more parks in the area has been brought up at recent city council and neighborhood association meetings as the population in the area continues to grow.
